
Legacy storage comes, by default, with one bay unlocked. You can increase the size by adding more bays (more in the next answer). Adding more Legacy storage “units” will simply add another access point, similar to how the cargo hold works right now.

If I add another Legacy storage to my Stronghold, does this add more storage space? (In both cases this means it would be available on the GTN for credits as well) Legacy storage will also be craftable and is possible to appear on the Cartel Market.
#Stronghold storage for free
The initial cost of placement is 2,000 wood and 3,000 stone.You will get Legacy storage for free with the completion of the “Introduction to Strongholds Mission” upon acquiring your first Stronghold. It requires wood and stone from the stockpile to be built. A total of 10 markets may be placed in each village. The maximum number of merchants which can be commissioned for each market may be increased by further researching Merchants' Guilds. Once a market has been built, and before any trading activity can begin, the player must create Merchants. Before this building may be placed, players must research Merchants' Guilds in the Education tab of the research tree. The market is used to trade resources with other villages, and sell goods to parish capital stock exchanges. The initial cost of placement is 1600 wood. Strategy cards may also give a production bonus.

The production rate of the building may be increased by further researching Pitch Extraction, and by upgrading the Pitch Workers' Guild in the parish capital. Before this building may be placed, players must research Pitch Extraction in the Industry tab of the research tree. The Marsh village type will yield the greatest pitch production. The pitch rig is used to produce pitch, may only be placed in the village types Highlands and Marsh, and must be placed in the marshy areas of the village. The initial cost of placement is 950 wood and 190 stone. The production rate of this building may be increased by further researching Iron Mining, and by upgrading the Miners' Guild in the parish capital. Before this building may be placed, players must research Iron Mining in the Industry tab of the research tree. The Mountain Peak and Highlands village types will yield the greatest iron production. The iron mine is used to produce iron, may only be placed in village types Lowlands, Highlands and Mountain Peak, and must be placed on iron deposits in the village. The initial cost of placement is 200 wood. It requires wood from the stockpile to be built. It may also be increased by upgrading the Stone Quarry Guild in the parish capital. The production rate of this building may be increased by researching Stone Quarrying in the Industry tab of the research tree. The Mountain Peak village type will yield the greatest stone production. The stone quarry is used to produce stone, can be placed in all village types, and must be placed on stone deposits in the village. The initial cost of placement is 25 wood and 50 stone.

It may also be increased by upgrading the Woodcutters' Guild in the parish capital.

The production rate of this building may be increased by researching Forestry in the Industry tab of the research tree. The Forest village type will yield the greatest wood production. The woodcutter's hut is used to produce wood, may be placed in all village types, and must be placed next to the trees. The stockpile may be sited and re-sited almost anywhere in the village. The closer the resource buildings are placed to the stockpile, the more productive they will be. Players must research Armoury Capacity to increase weapon space. Stockpile Capacity will only increase the space for resources, not weapons. The capacity of the stockpile may be increased by researching Engineering and Stockpile Capacity in the Education tab of the research tree. The stockpile is where resources and weapons are stored. The stockpile is the first building which must be placed in any new village.
